I volunteered at the Arizona branch of ICNA Relief for four years before transitioning into an official intern. My current role includes directing volunteers, translating a wide array of conversations for Arab refugees, and assisting with a variety of relief related projects such as women’s transition homes, fundraisers, and food banks. I interned for a Michigan based accounting agency. I shadowed accountants, compiled and rearranged data on balance sheets, and performed basic analyses on them.

I am self-taught in programming, and have worked on a variety of projects with a focus on web development and automation. You can read more about my projects down below. I also have experience with Photoshop and video editing, and a basic understanding of graphic design.

I run a side business of buying and selling Pokémon cards (yes I know that’s an oddly specific side business) and I was sick of people jumping on deals faster than me, so I wrote a Python script using the eBay API that constantly updates me on card listings. The script runs on a raspberry pi and automatically notifies me by email when inexpensive cards are listed.
